    Reduce the amount of politics and introduce better financial controls, develop a new long term goal that can attract high-tech talent.

    Pros

    Great co-workers, collaborative and talented
    Lot of freedom to develop unique solutions
    Good travel opportunities (France, Norway, Germany, etc)
    Laid-back, casual atmosphere

    Cons

    Satellite office mostly ignored
    Constant management turnover and strategy shifts
    Could get boring at times while strategy shifts were worked out

    Advice to Management

    The office was closed in 2013, and today ASIC (the original focus of the office) is a huge part of AI design. Go figure.

    Now Microchip. Very profitable.

    Cons

    Rank and file do not share in the wealth. Concentrated at the very top.

    Pros

    Good quality products such as MCU in automatic industry, it has a long history for MCU developments.

    Cons

    The company culture is changing very slow and can not adapt the trend of IC developments. Too many managers and directors for the management and low efficient.

    reduce management.

    Good products, average technology. Really good Marcom strategy and branding

    Cons

    Senior execs received comp packages more in line with a company 10x the size. Sold too late.

    Advice to Management

    None, Sold to MCHP for pennies on the dollar.

    Pros

    Great team of people to work with. Overtime is paid daily after 8 hours,normal shift is 12
    hours.

    Cons

    It can be difficult wearing the clean room suit for 12 hours.

    I worked with some of the greatest people on the planet. I learned so many things about memory chips.

    Pros

    Lots of webinar training. Many opportunities to learn about new product.
    Relatively easy to contact engineers in different location when you need their help

    Cons

    depends on the geographic region, it might be very hard to support customer issue as we lack testing equipment.
