I have been working at Atos full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Excellent benefits with a great sense of being part of a global team; an entrepreneurial cultural

    Cons

Culture is also about the "numbers" mean evaluations focus on financial performance to a great extent (this approach bothers some); being a global company necessitates travel and potential relocation

I have been working at Atos full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

They have a good online website for learning and training. They are for coming with new changes to company policy

    Cons

Some managers on different accounts have to much discretionary power. HR needs to do a better investigation on employee complaints.

    Advice to Management

    Ok

    Pros

    None, too many broken promises

    Cons

Broken promises, re-graded us to take bonuses away. Work so many hours a week that our hourly rate is substantially low.

    Pros

Telecommuting is a cool thing. However, we do work 50+ hours weekly. Won't complain as there is not much commute. They also give you a company phone to take office calls.

    Cons

You are a full time employee ONLY until you are billable. (These are not the terms in the employment offer, but it is at will any way).
They have only one major customer P&G. If client doesn't renew contract, you could be terminated.
    Lousy HR practices.
    Lack of professionalism.
    Poor Leadership

    Advice to Management

Treat us like how we should be treated - knowledge professionals. Do not fake christmas community outing by giving us ice cream and taking pictures of us eating ice cream outside the building. Have a real outing.

    Pros

    Cons

Work long hours and on-call 24x7.

    Pros

Benefits, teams tend to be very close to each other, even though about half of Atos consists of telecommuters, large company that is profitable

    Cons

Management's failure to communicate, pressure to offshore more and more work leading to increased layoffs

    Pros

Plenty of work to do. Colleagues are great to work with. Very knowledgeable and help with anything that is needed. Work out of your home office, which is nice. Company gives you a 20% break on medical insurance if you take a yearly physical.

    Cons

Executive management is all over the place. 401K matching isn't till middle of December when they pay out a lump sum. PTO instead of vacation. Promotions within doesn't seem to happen.

    Advice to Management

When putting service contracts together. Why can't they figure out how they will perform the service and then price the opportunity. Seems that concept is lost with this company. Throws money and resources at problems, which causes contract issues.
