I have been working at Attensity full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Attensity has amazing products and services
    The people are great
The benefits are above industry standards
I have been very happy working here

    Cons

The company took a long time to arrive at their current product strategy and that has hurt sales efforts. Previous management incarnations have not been as solid as the current team.

    Advice to Management

Stay the course. The current products are the best on the market and will continue to get stronger, and will stay leading edge. It is an exciting time for Attensity.

    I worked at Attensity full-time

    Pros

Great people, cool technology, interesting problems being worked on here

    Cons

The execs seem to be picked out of a hat at random. They have no relevant background to the industry. It took literally 1 year before the new CEO started understanding what the technology does. They chase mismatched opportunities because they do not understand what we do. What a mess.

    Advice to Management

Take the time to learn about your industry and your technology. Show up.

    Pros

Passionate workers, great tech, nice culture

    Cons

Horrible execs with no forward vision which will end the company.

    Advice to Management

Don't treat your job as a side project. Your employees were good. Invest in their knowledge.

I worked at Attensity full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There were some really smart and engaging people working there but they have since left. Good work/life balance.

    Cons

There seemed to be a lot of in-fighting between teams throughout the organization...sales, marketing, IT, engineering...I'm sure there were more. It was as if the various teams never got around to really connecting and aligning to deliver as one company. Towards the end of my tenure, I didn't really have a lot of confidence in the management.

    Advice to Management

Lead, instill a genuine culture of collaboration, and inspire your employees. There was so much more potential that could have been extracted from the team that was once there.
