    Pros

The size of the company lends itself to great personal interactions with fellow employees. There are a lot of benefits like company parties, gym and yoga, etc... Staff looks out for each other and goes the extra mile to help out when the work is overwhelming.

    Cons

There is perpetual building construction going on, but that's not on the business but rather the owner of the building. There are some pretty strict deadlines and expectations in this business. They don't bother me because I like the challenge and I've faced worse in my professional career. However, newer members to the workforce can find these things challenging, though I personally say they need to suck it up and learn...

    Advice to Management

A little more delegation wouldn't hurt, as well as acquiring a bit more staff to fill in some holes. There's a lot of pressure on management positions, and this could help relieve it.

    Pros

    * Puppers and doggos galore * Coworkers were generally really cool people * The work parties were great * Free food at meetings and on birthdays * Free yoga, workout boot camp, at one point we had free Gold's memberships which was pretty nice since there was one right up the road (although that one does smell hardcore like sweaty feet) * Everyone on here complains about "high standards of attorneys" and...

    Cons

    * If you suck at deadlines, you shouldn't be working here. They are strict and they are enforced, and if you get too many strikes (not many), you're out. * Management could be pretty high strung at times (although I would be too if I had to deal with certain clients) * No health insurance, unfortunately * Low starting pay, not a lot of room for advancement unless you were just a straight-up badass (although yearly...

    Pros

I had a list going but it really doesn't matter. The people who worked here, scrounging food off their meager paychecks were usually really cool. There was yoga and workouts and you were allowed to bring your dog to the asbestos, no heater, bug infested office, if you had one. Sometimes it was too distracting to work because there were so many dogs or the owner/niece would come socialize in your office with your coworker...

    Cons

They make you feel like you'll get fired at any moment, they don't own up to their own mistakes. Nepotism ran deep in this company. Turnaround is at an incredible rate, even for a marketing company. You won't get a raise unless you work really, really hard at convincing the owner. She would act like you were doing a bad job when your review time came around even if your clients were complimenting their writer.

    Advice to Management

    Congratulations on selling your company!

    Pros

you can tell people that you technically have a job i guess. you may meet some people that will inspire you to endure suffering like a warrior.

    Cons

everything you can think of that is soul crushing in a job, it's right here. The IM thing is indescribably terrible. The owner knows that her business is a joke but i guess she just lives in denial. Even if things pick up, it's destined to crash and burn, because they are not good people.

    Advice to Management

    Pros

It's in a run down strip mall, but it's above a Kolache shop so the whole place smells like kolaches all day. There's a lone lawyer who shares the office space and walks around barefoot that you might spot every now and then and that's kind of an amusing addition to the overall dystopian atmosphere

    Cons

I'll put it this way: I haven't worked there in two years and I still have the occasional nightmare that I'm working there again.

This is hard to respond to since it is anonymous. The rundown strip mall now has a very upscale restaurant and an awesome business center across the parking lot with well-known restaurants and stores. We are located in a very sought after location in North Austin. The sole pratictioner ...

    Pros

This is an enjoyable place to work, but it isn't perfect. If you go into any job expecting it to be perfect, you are naive. Still, it’s pretty awesome in a lot of ways. Keep in mind, that I am giving you a perspective of what it’s like working here as a writer. There are other departments. Let me start off with the pros. Pro #1: As other reviews have said, there are good people working here and the office does get...

    Cons

Con #1: If you want to perfect your work, being limited to 40 hours a week is tough. You may find that you go home at the end of the day obsessing over what you could have done better. Con #2: The company does not have health care benefits (I know for a fact that may change). Once the opportunity is right, I’m sure the owner will do what she can to get people covered. A couple of years ago, she brought a person from...

    Pros

The best part about working here is the people - we are a close-knit community of fun-loving people who not only work together, but also work out together and sometimes party together. It can be a little intimidating starting out (we work for lawyers after all), but anyone in the office is happy to answer questions and offer advice. Hard work is expected, but also rewarded. If you're willing to learn and put in effort,...

This is small business, so unfortunately there is no health insurance coverage, as others have mentioned. The building is under renovations, but this has never bothered me.

I have been working at Attorneys Online full-time

      Pros

I absolutely love being here. There's so much to love. First, we're a dog-friendly office. I'm not only ALLOWED to bring my two (very large) dogs to work with me every day, but I'm actually ENCOURAGED to do so. The people working here are all great. There's about 15 of us working here, and we've all become a very tight-knit group (but always welcoming to newcomers). We are a very health-conscious office, and the boss...

      Cons

Unfortunately, there are no health benefits offered at this time, which can be a bummer if you are someone who needs it. Also, having such a small group of people in the office is really great, but one bad attitude can turn things sour pretty easily.

      Advice to Management

If there's anything that can be done about the cons listed above, great, but I enjoy being here and would recommend this place to my friends regardless.

      Pros

This is a company that's been in business for almost 20 years. The people that work here are, in a word, awesome. Most of our employees (we have about 16; its a small company) have been here over a year, and people with upstanding work ethics get promotions and raises. There is room to grow and get promoted, but like any other job, we only promote the best and the brightest. In this office, you have a certain freedom...

Our office building is currently under construction, which is kind of a pain. But--its being completely renovated and will be very nice one day soon!

Continue to hire and promote people with great work ethics and who want to make the company a better place and who work well with others to continue our team-centric style.

Room for Growth Pet Friendly Active environment (provides yoga and gym memberships, gives days off based on work outs) Fast Paced Can make suggestions for how to do things better - but, make sure you have your ducks in a row.
