I worked at Audi full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Great company working at the forefront of technology. Flexible schedules with a lot of research projects towards autonomous driving.

    Cons

Location. Headquarters in Ingolstadt. You have to live there or travel a lot everyday from bigger cities located closely, such as Nuremberg or Munich.

    No opinion of CEO

I worked at Audi for less than a year

    Pros

    - Lots of responsibilies for interns - Opportunity for autonomous work and personal growth - OK salary for interns - department-level mentoring was excellent - opportunities to see large parts of the production plant

    Cons

    - housing situation in Ingolstadt can be difficult, employer could provide more help to interns - Ingolstadt itself is rather provincial, but proximity to Munich is a plus - corporate intern mentoring could be better

    I worked at Audi

    Pros

Audi is very well recongnized, a successful company, leading car manufacturer with motivated people trying to maintain and improve audi's position in the market. There is a very strong company culture and employees fully identify themselves with this company.

    Cons

Audi is located in Ingolstadt, a small town, where literally everyone seems to be working for this company. Furthermore, there is a very strict hierarchy, and it seems to be impossible to advance quickly. Even having been recommended by colleagues for a particular position, this person would need to attend an assessment centre and might not be considered as the right person for the job by HR.

    Advice to Management

The internal structures should be more flexible, logistics should be less conservative, as this part of the company has a lot of potential for improvement in cost and time.
