Great people, great product, great general culture

    Cons

PM org is more of a Techincal Prod Mgt org vs. traditional product manager being the "CEO" of a product.

I worked at Audible full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Nice People working the ranks...

    Cons

Just about everything else, place is an absolute joke. Its a mercy child of Amazon and proof of a monopoly at work. Senior leaders are insanely stuck as the CEO and the legacy group of hanger-ons run everything....into the ground.

    Advice to Management

Run, run, run as fast as you can...don't look back. The place and their free food, ha ha people principles, and overall day to day outlook is crazy town. Trust me, you do not want to manage here, go get a real amazon job and do real work. The place could literally run with less than 100 people, not 1000+. Spin everything but the studios up to amazon and let a dead dog lie.

    Pros

Love the product, as most people here do, making the work more meaningful. Fun work environment. Casual dress code. The Newark mission adds more purpose to the work. Fast-growing company, so opportunities abound. Nice perks.

    Cons

Hours can be long (varies by team). Bad apples are slow to leave the company.
