I have been working at Aultman Health Foundation

    Pros

Excellent benefits including PTO, and 501K benefit program, health insurance coverage very good with multiple options. Great people to work with and team cooperation and collaboration high. Salaries very competitive, raises and promotions steady and in line with industry standards. Leadership very accessible and inclusive to employees. Flexible work schedule and professional opportunities. Have been proactive in... improving the workplace atmosphere and professionalism

    Cons

Somewhat conservative and not always supportive of all departments in an equal manner. Have improved in their transparency and professionalism in the workplace. Can be slow to react to changes in the overall business environment.

    Advice to Management

Make sure all of your departments have the resources that they need to be very successful, and not just meeting minimal expectations.

I worked at Aultman Health Foundation

    Pros

Strong balance sheet, sound financial acumen and foundation of no debt performance.

    Cons

focused almost entirely on financial performance. Vertically integrated model turns focus away from patients and towards aligned health insurance product.

    Advice to Management

Eliminate the vertically integrated model. Balance the well performing service lines and jettison the poor performers.

I have been working at Aultman Health Foundation

    Pros

Great wages in comparison with local hospitals. Advancement opportunities. Great standing within the communnity. Friendly Employees in every division.

    Cons

Too many decisions based on finance vs. what is good for the patients. Understaffing. Complicated time consuming computer charting system.

    Advice to Management

Research needs of Nursing staff based on comfort for patients. To prevent burn out take a better look at staffing esp. need for nurse aides not to be counted as nurses.
