I have been working at Aunt Marthas Youth Services Center (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Flexible hours, helpful co workers,

    Cons

A lot of driving, on call 24 hours.

    Advice to Management

That the management take into account that with all the driving that is done, it also means that we encounter traffic, which adds on time. Management does not take into account that besides the stress of the job completing out duties, we also face the stress of traffic.

I worked at Aunt Marthas Youth Services Center full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

The work that front line staff reaches communities an people who normally dont have access to nice healthchare. You will build an amazing and desperate need for an us versus them lifestyle. You will form bonds that will help you push through the poor decisions made from outside the clinic setting. One thing for sure, if you can work here, your next job will be way more fulfilling and easier, aunt marthas will suck every ounce of blood and sweat out of you, and then dismiss you to save themselves.

    Cons

Senior Health Mgmt and Senior Mgmt have no commitment to the employees, providers, and those who really help the clinics function. A lot of turnover up top as each tries to jockey for position and lie there way through the CEO's requests, demands, and strategies. The Senior Health Mgmt, have members who verbally cant relate to staff, have counter engagement personas, and dont work at developing teams

    Advice to Management

LOL..too much.. Let's try by allowing middle managers the ability to manage, not everything can be centralized by people who dont know what they are doing. CEO needs to rebrand himself, as with so much turnover from managers, he may be the next downfall

    Pros

Some of the staff is very kind and caring. Some of the staff is truly concerned.

    Cons

Cronyism! Don't "Meet the CEO." Don't "Start a New Life" here! It is a waste of time. You will not get paid your worth. You are bettor off passing over a job opportunity here.

    Advice to Management

Pay people what they are truly worth. Stop the cronyism. However, no hope in that.

I have been working at Aunt Marthas Youth Services Center part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

It's a job that pays. Although on several occasions in the past year the company could not meet payroll and paychecks were delayed.

    Cons

Sweat shop. Salaried doctors have to punch in and out at a timeclock. Administration makes employees feel guilty about using benefit time. Only complacent individuals are promoted, they are resistant to change, they have no idea how to schedule patients, they greatly underpay

    Advice to Management

Hire individuals with the appropriate credentials

I have been working at Aunt Marthas Youth Services Center part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The company provides medical and psych services for people with Medicaid and uninsured. Most places do not accept Medicaid for psych services so a necessary service for people living in Illinois.

    Cons

Communication is not good among the various departments. Some departments are not liked by others so there exist some hostility. Pay is not very good. You regularly deal with unreasonable patients.

    Advice to Management

Management should listen to the advice of employees more.
