I have been working at Aunt Marthas Youth Services Center full-time

    Pros

No room for upward mobility, too many chiefs and not enough indians, unbelievably low pay, high turn over rate, no raises or incentives for a job well done

    Cons

    2 weeks paid vacation

    Advice to Management

Invest in your employees. You cant expect well qualified top performing employees for the poor pay you offer them. You get what you pay for.

I worked at Aunt Marthas Youth Services Center full-time

    Pros

good benefits. the longer you worked for the agency the more time off you earned. 4 weeks vacation; sick days; holidays. Great starter job to gain experience, but need to leave within the 2 year mark

    Cons

Worked there for 10 years in different locations. No room for advancement; work expectations were very high and demanding; not good for work life balance; Pay was extremely low for the environment; did not receive a raise for the 1st 3 years of employment with the agency; safety was a concern working with some of the clientele. Felt like you were all alone with the weight of the world on your shoulders; very stressful environment. No support from upper management. A lot of the outside employees that are hired get let go within 2 months of employment. Always feel like short staffed.

    Advice to Management

value the employees you have and groom them for advancement.

I worked at Aunt Marthas Youth Services Center full-time

    Pros

relaxed work environment if you don't mind that there are no rules

    Cons

Senior Leadership works in a very reactive way. No planning or looking ahead. They just move forward and deal with situations as they blow up in your face.

    Advice to Management

Study, Plan, Do. The agency continues to move forward when the foundation is crumbling. Quit opening more clinics when you can't manage the one's you have.

I have been working at Aunt Marthas Youth Services Center (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Flexible hours, helpful co workers,

    Cons

A lot of driving, on call 24 hours.

    Advice to Management

That the management take into account that with all the driving that is done, it also means that we encounter traffic, which adds on time. Management does not take into account that besides the stress of the job completing out duties, we also face the stress of traffic.

I worked at Aunt Marthas Youth Services Center full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

The work that front line staff reaches communities an people who normally dont have access to nice healthchare. You will build an amazing and desperate need for an us versus them lifestyle. You will form bonds that will help you push through the poor decisions made from outside the clinic setting. One thing for sure, if you can work here, your next job will be way more fulfilling and easier, aunt marthas will suck every ounce of blood and sweat out of you, and then dismiss you to save themselves.

    Cons

Senior Health Mgmt and Senior Mgmt have no commitment to the employees, providers, and those who really help the clinics function. A lot of turnover up top as each tries to jockey for position and lie there way through the CEO's requests, demands, and strategies. The Senior Health Mgmt, have members who verbally cant relate to staff, have counter engagement personas, and dont work at developing teams

    Advice to Management

LOL..too much.. Let's try by allowing middle managers the ability to manage, not everything can be centralized by people who dont know what they are doing. CEO needs to rebrand himself, as with so much turnover from managers, he may be the next downfall

    Pros

    There are none. B.S. Company

    Cons

Would be a good company if upper management is integrous to its mission statement. Lots of faking it till we make it. Jive company. Don't waste your time.
