I have been working at Austin Regional Clinic full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

More flexible, schedule-wise, than other places. Benefits reasonable, Christmas bonuses. Despite the company's ballooning size, an attempt is still made to appreciate employees. Doctors tend to be very nice, dedicated to company and patients.

    Cons

Pay is lower than comparable organizations, truly valuable employees tend to leave. Advancement is slow and there are only so many pathways to do so.

    Advice to Management

Make pay more competitive. Streamline workflows.

Company is great to work for. Managers at my clinic are very passionate about their employees and will always work with you. Overall structure of the company really cares about the employee. Love being a part of this organization.

    Cons

Pay isn't super high but its pretty reasonable for what you do.

    Pros

Great providers and co-workers. I enjoy going to work everyday. The pay is fair and if you work hard, you are rewarded well.

    Cons

I haven't encountered any. Of course every job has issues...your attitude determines how well you navigate difficult situations. Try finding the positive in every situation. Offer solutions instead of complaints.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great work for our patients and employees! You've made this company a wonderful place to learn and grow careers!

I have been working at Austin Regional Clinic full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

I worked at ARC for almost 15 years and was able to work in various positions in order to accommodate my family's needs. Awesome co-workers, managers and doctors. Multiple nurses have celebrated 25 year anniversaries.

    Cons

Not much room for LVN's to promote. Pace was sometimes very fast and hectic. Size of company seemed to grow exponentially. Sometimes felt like cattle prodding patients through as fast as we could.

    Advice to Management

Remember to consider patients quality of care when putting pressure on physicians to get numbers seen up.
