    Upper management very accessible
     Benefits and discount programs
    Friendly work environment

    Hard to move up unless you really prod your manager
    Pay is not as high as comparable positions in same field
    Health Insurance cost is high to cover a whole famiy

    Advice to Management

    Base raises on the cost of living not just the standard 3% raise.

    Pros

    Inexperienced unprofessional supervisor may favor you if your lucky enough to be friends and put up with bullying.

    Cons

    Inexperienced unprofessional supervisor does not treat employee fairly and will write you up even though many others in same group are doing the same because of process issues. No knowledge base or training for troubleshooting. Chaotic environment.

    Advice to Management

    Treat all employees fairly and equally.

    I worked at Austin Regional Clinic full-time

    Pros

    I did my externship here and then was hired. I loved working for arc. This doctors were thorough and wonderful

    Working one holiday a year at urgent care.

    I have been working at Austin Regional Clinic part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    It is one of the most positive work environments I have ever worked in. The attitude this company has about our patients, makes it a joy to work here.

    Cons

    Just as in any job there are customers/patients, that are difficult to deal with and or serve/treat , ARC is the same.

    Always be honest and up front.

    Your are able to make a difference with community; The doctors and leaders of the company are genuine and follow the fundamental mission; Values of the company are followed.

    Cons

    Lazy work ethic is tolerated at entry level positions; Terrible attitudes among fellow coworkers; Lack of communication between management and staff; Pay is low for Austin market

    Advice to Management

    As the saying goes, "A few bad apples can ruin the bunch". Poor performance is tolerated with out consequence and further enforces an attitude of apathy. Management should closely examine and monitor the performance of employees.

    This is a great company to work for. I'm very sad to leave. However I am relocating. They have all kinds of hours and locations, makes it very nice and easy to find a location near your home.

    Pros

    More flexible, schedule-wise, than other places. Benefits reasonable, Christmas bonuses. Despite the company's ballooning size, an attempt is still made to appreciate employees. Doctors tend to be very nice, dedicated to company and patients.

    Cons

    Pay is lower than comparable organizations, truly valuable employees tend to leave. Advancement is slow and there are only so many pathways to do so.

    Advice to Management

    Make pay more competitive. Streamline workflows.
