Co workers were nice. 8-5 time lot works great.
Cons
MDs, and bosses just horrible to work with, upper management is just terrible.

Pros
A great place to call home depending on which site you work at. Lots of longevity. Great clinic management and upper management . Flexible and family oriented. If you work hard you will be noticed.
Cons
Goes through spurts of turnover but most employees come back after leaving.

Pros
It was a stable place to work and the workload was reasonable. I did not have to work outside of regular business hours often.
Cons
ARC once was named a best place to work in Austin by a local publication a few years back, and seems to have coasted on that accolade since. The office I worked in was located in a dismal part of town and was a chore to get in and out of thanks to the only access point being a feeder road. And that's before rush-hour traffic even hits! Management has people in their ranks that lack social, communication, and fundamental management skills. They overcompensated their deficiencies by micromanaging the most trivial of day-to-day operations. Upper management hardly ever communicated with the employees directly, and as a result fostered an environment where employee camaraderie and face-to-face communication is discouraged in favor of mass e-mails. I went full business days where nobody would talk to me except for a series of emails even though the senders of those emails were all in close proximity of my desk. There were no initiatives to encourage employees to expand knowledge in their career fields, and any ideas to improve operations were met with major resistance or simply ignored. The antiquated status quo rules here. If you are looking to expand your career in an interactive, growing environment you may have a challenge working here.

Corporate culture that is under the guise of "physician centric"
Oct 20, 2020 - Staff Physician in Austin, TXRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
A good majority of clinical and nursing staff were very compassionate and caring. The clinician were overall the reason my tenure at ARC was manageable. Unfortunately, the majority of the staff were undermined by the evil administration
Cons
There were numerous. Often times the upper management from the CEO, COO and all the upper administration were uncaring. They lacked compassion and treated physicians with a lack of respect. They believe that every physician should be a factory moving through patients to capture more RVUs. The truly deceptive issue with ARC is they state that it is physician driven company, but that is so far from the truth. The company has become more aggressive and treats the physicians worse than any of the corporate hospital based systems. It is truly sad because many of the employees that worked for over 10 years were treated like garbage upon their exit even in the midst of a pandemic. I personally felt terrible upon my departure because I sincerely believed that ARC was different. I believed in the concept of being a part owner. However this concept of ownership is nonsense.

Great place to work. Great people.

Everyone in IT is professional and happy to be working here. Not a toxic environment at all. Upper management is really good at connecting with everyone and showing their appreciation.
Cons
Salary (IT) is about average and not exactly cutting edge but the Pros definitely outweigh the Cons here.
