I worked at Autism Pediatric Therapy and Learning Center for more than 2 years

    Pros

I loved working for this company. I had a great experience. I learned a lot about how to work with wonderful kids, teammates, and leaders. We had very flexible schedules that would be adjusted according to my collage schedule every semester. The owners, and directors were very accommodating when sick and when in some cases I needed to leave early for personal reasons. This place is exceptionally clean, safe and overall...

    Cons

I can’t say much. Sometimes I needed to stay after my scheduled time to leave when absolutely needed.

I have been working at Autism Pediatric Therapy and Learning Center full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

This Job has been the most rewarding job I have ever had. It lets me work with the most wonderful children and people. There is always a positive atmosphere among staff and the environment to work in. It provides me a very flexible work schedule and it works around my school schedule. This company also provides great health benefits.

    Cons

The schedule is very busy and it gets tiring.

    Advice to Management

Place more responsibility on other staff.

I worked at Autism Pediatric Therapy and Learning Center part-time for more than 2 years

      Pros

      - Safe and very clean environment - All staff clean and organize and it makes the place feel good. - Lots of materials and toys for the children - Trainers set their own schedule to meet their college schedule each semester. - Co-workers that cannot do the job don't get to stay

      Cons

      - The job can be stressful at times because some of the children are aggressive - The managers make last minute changes to schedules sometimes - This job requires a lot of physical and mental energy

      Advice to Management

The management needs to work on better communication to staff members.

I worked at Autism Pediatric Therapy and Learning Center

        Pros

Flexible Schedule Ironically, they are good at picking nice people to work there

        Cons

First let me start by saying, whoever wrote the review about how great this place is HAS to be either the managers or the owners only because the owners don't want to look bad. Speaking of the owners, they are horrible people. They can't keep their business separate from personal life. Stop bringing your insecurities into the work place. NOBODY WANTS EITHER OF YOU! If you do something wrong while they are in the SAME...

ADVICE: 1. Stop lying to your staff 2. Stop lying to parents 3. Stop lying to everyone on glassdoor (We know you wrote that review. lol) 4. Once you instill integrity within yourself, I promise you, your business will flourish 5. Managers- I feel sorry for y'all. You guys are stuck with doing the right thing and doing the what the owners want you to do (the corrupt thing) Unfortunately you guys are weak-minded people....

        Neutral Outlook

I worked at Autism Pediatric Therapy and Learning Center

        Pros

Training is provided They are flexible and approach you nice Kids are fun to work with and you establish a bond with each and every child Sometimes you are given hour lunches, but mostly 30 min lunches Scrub uniform Friendly Environment This job is great for entry level.

        Cons

They try to maintain a level of hierarchy but it is VERY unorganized. There are misunderstandings between the owners and the micromanagement team. The micromanagement team does not cover many company policies during training and although you sign and read a lot of policies, there are some rules that are not provided on paper - which can result in a write up or decreasing your chances of passing the 3 month probationary...

        Advice to Management

Be more involved with what is actually going on in the clinic than focusing on hiring a lot of people. It is distracting and unprofessional to the clients and trainers. Pay people for their qualifications, not for favoritism.

I worked at Autism Pediatric Therapy and Learning Center full-time

        Pros

They are flexible with schedules and the kids can be so enjoyable to work with. No experience is required training is provided.

        Cons

I don't even know where to start. The owners that run this clinic are terrible deceptive people. I never knew my schedule for the week or even the DAY until I got in that MORNING. When I started, I was told a schedule for my week would be printed off. The clinic is open Saturdays and those that would be working Saturday were almost always told on Friday, the day before. I was told when hired that there was a rotation...

I have been working at Autism Pediatric Therapy and Learning Center full-time for more than a year

        Pros

You don't need experience in this field before being employed. They will train you on they type of therapy they use. It is a 40-50 hour training. They have been flexible with schedules and taking sick days. Small workplace so you will know everyone you work for. The kids can be really run to work with. The owners are not in the office much.

        Cons

The owners are a married couple who do not separate personal and professional boundaries well. The main problem with this clinic is the unprofessionalism. It would be very stressful because they are always hiring new people and constantly asking us to do things that don't seem right. You aren't allowed to question anything. It does not feel comfortable to talk to the owners about any issue as they will criticize you and...

        Advice to Management

Well the managers cannot really do much. Seems like their hands are tied. The micro managing is to an extreme level though. Employees need trust or they aren't going to stay. To the bosses, well you need to watch how much you micro manage. I mean there are talks of getting sound recording in the building now. It makes the whole work day uncomfortable. Your kids have mentioned that they get to watch the video cameras....
