Pros
PTO, paid holidays, flexible time off, great benefits!
Cons
Heavy workload, stressful, must handle time management and stress well
- Current Employee, more than 3 years★★★★★
Pros
Room for growth and great pay with bonus and overtime opportunities. Also great benefits.
Cons
Work on weekends when other departments are closed can't resolve issues that same day. Also resolving other employees errors and they're not being held accountable leads to more work and a higher call volume
- Former Employee, more than 8 years★★★★★
Pros
I worked for the call center in Costa Mesa. It is a good career with good pay and good benefits. The yearly vacations are good for top performers. The company has an incredible reputation for the clients so you are selling the best product on the market. Great benefits
Cons
The company used to be 100% commission based and they changed the pay structure to adapt to the California $15 minimum wage law. That kind of screwed up the higher earning agents because we were not making as much as before even though they promised us that we were. The inbound call flow started to diminish as well as if they hired too many employees for the inbound call demand. But if you are a good agent and get along with your peers and managers you will do well. It's a great company to work for. Just adapt to their changes and go with the flow. Keep your negativity out of the workplace and make the best out of it. Too bad they don't give residual income. Those agents WAAAY back in the day were making BAAANNNKKK.

Pros
Great benefits including a pension. Co-workers are supportive A lot of cool events for the employees Pay is average not bad not great
Cons
-No flexibility -No work from home -Top down management -Managers of departments are puppets with no control of their employees unless executive management says so. -Micromanagement- to worried about badge swipes (turnstile reports) than actual productivity. -Hiring process is way to long. - There are a lot of Glassdoor reviews on here that are fake and completed by their talent marketing company to increase their numbers.

Great place for stability but not a lot of growth and they pay below industry standard
RecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Great benefits , match 401k , sick time . The team culture is great
Cons
Hard to promote. There are a lot of boomers who wont retire. Once they do its a lot of folks gunning for the same role. Only opportunity to advance is to move to Texas or Missouri.

Pros
- Great benefits - Job security - Genuine good employees and coworkers
Cons
I have just read many of the reviews form late March to June when the CEO thought it was a good decision to bring people back to the office. I thought I was the only one upset, but I guess everyone else is as well according to these reviews. It is pointless to restate what everyone said, but I agree with it all! It is all accurate from the technology being so old and everyone living in a different era to not caring about their employees or their circumstances. The sad part is that I have compared employee reviews at State Farm and Farmers Insurance just right now and there were no such reviews regarding handling of this pandemic forcing employees to come back. I guess we really are the only ones. I believe that after the pandemic employees will leave as soon as they get an opportunity and the Auto Club will have the employees that no one else wanted to hire. Moreover, they will have the employees that just show up to do the work and collect a paycheck and not ask any questions just like executive management would like. Talent will simply not be there.
