I worked at AutoFair Automotive full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great pay, great people, busy store

    Cons

Long hours, work every holiday including Sundays, late into the evening, cut throat, politics and games, not progressive, stubborn management with big egos that need stroked.

    Advice to Management

    Find empathy.

    Pros

Honest job. the customers I had we always nice.

    Cons

The owner Andy is a liar and is corrupt, management is poor you are lied to and yelled at and harassed. You are given broken down vehicle to make deliveries. Was not given my full 40 hrs each week was 35 hrs. Pay is poor.

    Advice to Management

If it is a full time job make sure we get 40hrs, if the vehicle is broken fix it. Owner and management need to go to a management courses to work on their skills

    Pros

Rip off people is what they do best and they encourage employees to do that as well

    Cons

If you hate to lie to your customers

    Advice to Management

Do the service work, don't say you did it when you didn't.

    Pros

They pay well and you will learn.

    Cons

The CEO is delusional and Machiavellian. His management style is reminiscent of the eighties. Behind all the charitable contributions and photo ops lies a highly ambitious and totally unscrupulous individual. There has been talk of him running for public office. Truthfully, we have enough of his type already running things.

    Advice to Management

None. They would not heed it anyways!

    Pros

nice cars, but forget working there

    Cons

managers have no plans how to run the business, they will yell at you for any stupid thing you do, you will work for over 60 hours a week and you will get around 400$ before tax. the floor is flooded with salesmen , when you need to take a lunch break you have to call the shuttle to give you a ride to your car so between waiting for the ride and the ride back and force that's 30 minutes gone. don't waste your time there.unless you like to be tortured and make no money.

    Advice to Management

do not put more pressure on the salesmen when processing sales.

    Pros

A few of the employees are great people.

    Cons

From the cowbell on the wall to the leadership...the place screams amateur the second you walk into the door. Its a good place to work if you like to work at a place that increases the hours for everyone (except a manager who ducks out early), over-hires without regard to the effect it has on the employees that trusted the job was worth taking, doesn't give women equal opportunities, and allows management to sleep with salespeople, which everyone knows and jokes about. FYI...Someone will eventually sue them and win. Work at Autofair Ford of Haverhill if you want to work more hours for less money with management who are barely qualified to bring you coffee.

    Advice to Management

Clean house in Haverhill and start over with a professional, qualified, leader. If you hire monkeys, don't be surprised when you have a zoo.

    Pros

Unfortunate I can I give this company any positive feedback.

    Cons

If you want no life and no family this is a company to work for. Upper management is the only ones that make money in this company...!

    None.
