A great place to learn from experienced software engineers

- A chance to work on complex engineering design products surrounded by experienced developers that have both a strong technical understanding of software development principles as well as the domain specific knowledge for the product they are working on - After working on a complex desktop application for 3D surface modelling here (in C++) I didn't want to go back to mobile development - Solid mentorship from team members that were willing to spend some extra time to allow you to gain some insight into why things work a certain way (code architecture or even in C++) - My team was flexible and let me use my own dev environment and work the way I wanted to without micromanaging me - Manager got me various things I requested (Macbook, software licences, extra monitor) and realized that improving the quality of my work environment would improve my productivity (and it did)
Cons
- The full time employees are generally older than in other tech companies (might feel like you don't fit in) - This isn't actually a con to me, since I didn't feel this way, but others do - Some of the other web-based internal projects aren't as interesting (I found my experience rewarding in part because I was working on a flagship product)

Vibrant company, influencing the world. Mix of age ranges within the company. Flexible work schedule and work-life balance promoted. Offices are nice but you need to be able to work in an open environment.
Cons
In some groups, it's hard to get promoted, or receive a significant raise. There's a new CEO, and a couple SVP's have left. So the company is going through some change.
