I worked at Autoliv full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

The company provides affordable Healthcare options and has solid Human Resources Policies that are enforced consistently across the board.

    Cons

Autoliv believes that each entry level employee is expendable and although they have company values, the people who are promoted tend to bully or make other people miserable to get ahead making sure that the people who get ahead create an unhealthy authoritarian based culture. In short, the company values never reach the production floor. They work people on their production floor 7 plus days straight but stagger the...

    Advice to Management

Upper Management is able to have a quality of life far superior at the expense of the workers on the production floor. Work-life balance is nearly impossible at the poverty level that the production force must survive at. Also, quit hiring Engineers that are unable to design from an End User standpoint. It takes more than the ability to complete a task. The program at UsU is insufficient to that end in particular.

I have been working at Autoliv full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

The pay is pretty decent. The people are cool. It's a job. I don't want to be a lifer, but it's pretty okay for right now.

    Cons

The overtime is ridiculous. Don't let anyone tell you that full-time is a 40 hour week, because it's not.

Tuition reimbursement, multiple shifts, consistent hours, decent pay, the actual work isn't to bad after your trained and can keep up.

    Cons

I worked at Autoliv full-time for more than a year

    Pros

None, you're on your own. It's a job. Not the best job, but it's a job. Looking for better work.

    Cons

Nobody gives you any advice on your work. You're on your own without assistance. Figure out your own problems

    Advice to Management

Three weeks is not a long enough probation period!

I have been working at Autoliv full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

Pay is good. Benefits are great. Standard production job.

    Cons

Leadership is based off of friendship/family relations outside of work. Constant sexual harassment cases kept hushed. Mandatory OT all the time (6-day work week).

    Advice to Management

Graveyard is a shift that works too. Please treat your employees on that shift like real people.

    I worked at Autoliv

    Pros

When you have no where else to work and are ineed of cash flow, they will give you cash flow if you are willing to put in the hours.

    Cons

Most of the work at Autoliv was shift work, and repetive manual labor, you have to go to your nothing zone in your brain to survive.

    Advice to Management

Just because times are tuff, letting people go should not be the solution, don't hire them if you are going to let them go, hire them as temp workers.
