    Pros

    Overall Laid back work environment
    High job security
Tuition reimbursement up to $5k per year
Offers a wide range of learning opportunities
Medical benefits and partial 401k matching
Invests back into the company and its employees

    Cons

Company runs very lean which means there are high expectations per employee
Medical coverage is through Aetna so it covers nearly nothing short of hospital stays
Pay tends to be lower than the average for similar positions.
Very little turn over in positions above entry level

    Advice to Management

Get rid of Aetna, you're paying way too much for worthless insurance.
Increase pay caps at least at the rate of inflation

I have been working at Autoliv full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Safety and keeping employees happy is a big deal for Autoliv. They watch out for their people.

    Cons

Management. They rotate management too often. Always stuck with someone new, always struggling to get stuff right.

    Advice to Management

Listen to the people on the floor, they know what they're doing and can make your job much easier.

    Pros

Pays decent and always hiring (probably a reason for that). Matches retirement, and willing to help pay for schooling if you are there over a year. Decent benefits.

    Cons

Poor management, looks at seniority over results for promotions, poor work enviorment, lots of unmotivated and negative coworkers

    Advice to Management

Get somebody who can schedule a proper week.

    Pros

They have a Clean environment .

    Cons

HR is corrupted, many managers have been infected by this corruption and uses Anyone for a fall guy when they don't do their jobs...

    Advice to Management

Clean out all corrupted management and those that follow them let them go! The company will thrive so much more and save a lot of money when they (Derek & dean weaver), stop thieving from the company!

    Pros

Great health benefits. Holiday pay. 401k match. Purchase vacation option.

    Cons

Base pay was low; although benefits make up for some of that low base pay. Work life balance was horrendous, constantly on the phone during home life and weekends. Communication was laughable bad, upper management did not clearly convey desired expectations and constantly changes their minds. I asked about my future in the company and possibly futures raises and I was all but told that unless I go into supervision or management I would not be able to get more than the standard raise per year (no more than 3%)even with bumping up pay grades. Human Resources were completely cold and unhelpful in most cases. I would not recommend working for this company, at least not on the manufacturing side. The product design of things might be better.

    Advice to Management

Set clear and concise goals. Follow through on your promises. Communicate to your subordinates. Follow the chain of command; don't undermine middle supervisors and managers.
