    Pros

Good company with generally good management. Environment is generally stable with occasional upheaval. Low turnover in development team. Contractors are treated fairly.

    Cons

Like many organizations this size there is politics. If you end up under the proper manager and director life can be good. Otherwise things can be tough.

    Advice to Management

Stress to field employees the necessity of turning phones and computers off in the evening.

    Pros

training opportunities, personal development, relaxing and fun place to work. truly enjoy working with my co-workers. Made some good friends at the company over the years. Great benefits with pension.

    Cons

company getting too big too fast, wasn't able to build up architecture to scale with that growth.
adding more corporation standards to reduce some of the fun things. I guess its kind of expected as we get bigger.

    Advice to Management

keep investing in knocking out the tech debt. it has gotten better in the past 1.5 years and it needs to stay as an every year focus!

    Pros

They provide great benefits including very minimal employee cost insurance and a no cost pension plan. You also have a lot of freedom with your schedule.

    Cons

Commission has dropped dramatically and the company has been very slow to react to changing market conditions. Depending on the manager they can micro manage you to insanity.

    Advice to Management

Increase the commission structure for sales!

    Pros

Cox is a family owned company with great benefits. The pay is fair.

    Cons

Hard to have a good work life balance. Leadership is constantly changing. In my opinion HR lacks the strategic vision. They are very tactical and seem to need guidance for every decision.

If you are related to the CEO of Cox Automotive you will definitely have a job with this company.

    Advice to Management

Walk the walk! Lots of lip service and not action. Front line managers are asked to develop and hold their people accountable but they get very little guidance from HR or senior leaders.

    Pros

Stable company with a goal to combine all internal and external systems for every facet of the car business model today.

    Cons

Too much information from many great divisions to be able to share with clients and do justice to those solutions.

    Advice to Management

Go back to the SSR to take care of dealers current program maintenance letting the account consultants focus on future sales
