    Pros

There were no pros that I can think of in terms of the company expect for its too loyal employees.

    Cons

By far one of the worst companies that I have ever worked for. Leadership could care less of employees. HR was non-existent. At one point no one could call HR and had to email everything. We had ask for permission to purchase printer paper. Corporate would not pay for even coffee. No pay raises unless you threatened to leave the company. No 401k matching. As I said worst company I have ever worked for including the management.

    Pros

Good Work Life Balance, Potential to learn more about Avaya Product Line. Good Employee In-Processing Procedure. Good Starting Vacation and Sick time.

    Cons

Feels like you are just a number here. Company is extremely focused on profits and will conduct lay offs if contracts are lost. Health Care Benefits are extremely Expensive and coverage is minimal.

    Advice to Management

Take better care of your employees and customers. Focus on ensuring jobs so that customers can have the best possible service. Improve Employee benefits so employees can take care of their families.

    Pros

great team of skills and expertise in the ranks, people willing to help each other and share skills to make things happen.

    Cons

too many leadership changes and styles, and some conflicting products. sometimes it seems as if there's some level of leadership turf challenges.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at Avaya Government Solutions (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Flexibility of work and duty assignments

    Cons

Poor communication regarding government contracts, and lots of uncertainty around contract renewal. Associates whose jobs were in the balance or negatively impacted by contract renewal terms or contract loss were often not informed until the last minute, which shows very little regard for the workforce or the rank and file.

    Advice to Management

    Improve communication

    Pros

I can't think of too many pros.

    Cons

The contract I was on only went under Avaya for a couple of years. Fortunately the contract I was on was bought out by a better company. In that time I was with Avaya they took away as many benefits as possible for savings...no more bonuses or yearly raises. No matching 401K plans, Health Insurance plans were bad compared to what other companies offer. If there's a way to cut cost they will find it. They are all about profit, not employee satisfaction.

    Pros

Good experience with management and staff. Management would often listen to employees but would not act on the information provided.

    Cons

Lack of direct line of communication between departments would often prevent the employees from exceeding expectations of managers and senior leadership.

    Advice to Management

Incorporate lessons learned from interactions with employees to better the company overall and improve upon weakness that have been identified.
