    Pros

Strong HR rating system and culture with heavy investment in top employees and extremely focused on delivering results in certain organizations.

    Cons

The declining industry and declining revenue make costs controls too imperative. Because of Private Equity ownership there is very limited equity opportunity like public companies.

I worked at Avaya full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

The people are great at Avaya. Smart, friendly and most are hard working. Avaya gives you the freedom to achieve any goals you're striving for (certifications, continuing education, good family/work balance). You are your own boss in sales and you control your success and destiny w/out over-the-shoulder supervision unless you ask for that. Also, the company has great technology.

    Cons

The company's financials and some areas of product development are not fast enough at getting to market to stay ahead of the market and competitors.

    Advice to Management

Continue to eliminate the debt and get all products and services in the cloud...your cloud.
