I worked at Avenica part-time for less than a year

    Cons

They didn't negotiate salary as well as I had hoped.

I worked at Avenica full-time for less than a year

    Pros

For the 5% of applicants who are desperate/lucky enough you may actually find a temporary job.

    Cons

    1. Positions marketed are not actually positions available. 2. They will be 10-15 minutes late to their initial phone interview you schedule with them. 3. They make money off of you by throwing your resume and personal information (Social Security, Name, Age, Address, etc) into the wind and hoping a company finds it. 4. This is a typical intern/job agency and your personal success or happiness is of no priority to them. 5. They generally send applicants to companies that have a hard time finding people. Such as call centers or claims agencies.

    I worked at Avenica

    Pros

There are no pros to Avenica.

    Cons

Avenica sends two candidates out to interview for each position. Avenica will threaten you and say they can’t work with you if you refuse to interview for a job they give you. If you do not feel your skills are suited for the position they suggest or if you just plain don’t want the position they get upset and drop you as a client.

I have been working at Avenica

    Pros

Avenica is a third party staffing/recruiting agency. They are hired by companies who outsource their hiring responsibilities. Avenica is hired by their clients (the companies that hire them to recruit) to provide them recent college graduates to fill entry level positions. The staff is fantastic, thorough, and committed to helping recent college graduates be matched and placed into an excellent career opportunity!!! Being a student who went through the process, I worked with Ashley Chapman, and she has been nothing less than wonderful. She is completely in tune with the struggle of being in the hiring process. She has helped prepare me for my interviews and always takes time to check in with me and provide me updates. Avenica knows what they are doing, and their clients are some of the biggest names in business. These job opportunities are great entry level positions that provide growth, continuous learning, benefits, and competitive base pay.

    Cons

There are no cons. Their service that they offer is impeccable to not only their clients, but the students that they work with as well. To give one small con so that nobody thinks this is a fake review. They send 2 candidates to each interview. So they match the best qualified people and from that point on you are competing against a peer who has similar interests, qualifications, etc. so there still is an element of uncertainty, you are not guaranteed anything, (which is life), but they will continue to work with you until you are successfully matched if they feel you are a great person and candidate.

I worked at Avenica full-time for less than a year

    Pros

After graduation, I had a rough time trying to find a position. I was a pretty bad interviewer and honestly didn't know what I really wanted in a career. I applied to a position with Avenica, and they gave me some helpful feedback about my interviewing skills and helped me discover a little more about what I'd be good at. It probably took about 3 weeks from application to final interview, I'm not sure if that's typical or not, but then just a couple days after the interview I got my offer. My office is in a great location, my salary is on par with many of my friends I graduated with, and I am doing really well on the job so far!

    Cons

It's a bit confusing at first, because you're not technically applying to work for Avenica and you don't know what company you'll be working for, but in the end it was worth it.

I worked at Avenica full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Set me up with a company and a position that I like and where I can grow. While employed would check in and make sure everything was ok. Ashley Chapman, my manager, was very helpful and beneficial to my growth. Overall I enjoyed the process and outcome.

    Cons

    Kinda taking a small risk.
