I have been working at Avery Dennison full-time

    Pros

Big company, benefits, days off and all that standard deal

    Cons

Always restructuring, unstable employee "VIBE" I am next deal

    Advice to Management

If your going to restructure and reduce footprint to show growth stop getting rid of the quality employees with the most experience. When the market turns you have no expertise to support growth thus losing opportunity. Also the quality of service goes down on the current dedicated customers--results-- MARKET SHARES go down, lose of new OPPS.. Believe in the employees you have, KEEP experience and minimize outsource model to enhance "NOT" replace. Stop getting desperate to just cut the "head count" to meet the magic $$ that quarter.

    Pros

Decent Benefits including paid time off, insurance, best doctors, and various free health testing. Fair income for the type of industry.

    Cons

Need to continuously look at competition for advancement opportunities and income comparison. Very little mentorship, but one can advance internally with an Avery mindset and the right connections.

    Advice to Management

Survey current employees for skills that are under utilized and better suited for alternate positions.
