    Pros

    Went from a lack of clear vision to clear vision. Good people are still there trying to do the right thing.

    Cons

    Lack of accountability for some failed high level initiatives Alienation of some good people that actually make things work.

    Advice to Management

    Look at anything that can be "elite benefits" vs "regular folsk benefits" and align - you are ALREADY doing work here - please do more. If you believe in your story lead by example and take less now, and more when things are better. Understand who is killing themselves to make the company successful - do some double or triple skip level meetings.

    Pros

    Great people, best in the field. Industry leaders

    Cons

    Avid has had a series of misguided leadership teams that has completely ignored the business we are privileged to serve. They have no idea how to deliver industry leading products to the customers. Instead, the only thing they know is data and spreadsheets. No plan for product improvement or delivery to market. Terrible communications internally and a general sense of a rudderless ship. Do not believe the fake reviews...

    Learn the business you are in, not the MBA processes you brought from other companies. Listen to the people who have made this company successful for so many years (If there are any left)

    Pros

    Great products (or did have once upon a time) in audio, music, video. Talented and enthusiastic people with interest in (and experience) in arts and media

    Cons

    highly disorganized. Poor strategy, communication, etc. Top executives do not understand the markets for most of the products

    go manage something that doesn't require an understanding of creative professionals

    I worked at Avid Technology full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Great team and enthusiastic people who love what they do.

    Cons

    Poorest executive team performance I've ever experienced - without a single exception! Military organisation style. SNAFU and CYA all over the place. And people at the top don't even notice nor do they seem to care.. I guess they simply don't understand!

    Get fired! Shame on you!
