I have been working at Avionte Staffing Software full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    - Some of the best people I've ever worked with. Life long friends
    - Great holiday party
    - Have good maternity and paternity leaves
    - If they like you, career opportunities internally are great

    Cons

    - Technical resources are not respected
    - Not great work/life balance for developers
    - Under staffed in every department that's not sales
    - Executive team doesn't understand what is actually happening, they don't listen
    - There's no real HR, they plan parties and that's about it
    - Large amount of hypocrisy within the company - you better be a "favorite"
    - Lower than average pay
    - It takes months for requests to go through management and be implemented

    Advice to Management

"The client is always right", you take it a little too far. The client might always be right, but they're not always smart. Some of the decisions you've made because a client threatened to leave has ultimately caused problems for the company and the client in the future. Don't bend over backwards because you want the money, retain your employees and your integrity as a company.
Start recognizing the immense amount of talent you have within your company, rather than ignoring them until they've been there for 5 years, hate it, express it, and you "let them go".
Everyone knows about the busy season, if you have teams that are crying out for help - listen to them, don't ignore them until managers realize we actually meant it.
Managers should be fighting and advocating for their teams, people are people and they aren't just numbers on your scorecards.
Everyday I'm in the office is another adventure because I have no idea what disappointing new structure change is going to happen. The constant changes that happen don't leave me feeling confident about the current status of the company and it's future as well.

I worked at Avionte Staffing Software full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Smaller company and great to watch it grow.

    Cons

When traveling to a customers site to train you still had to manager about 30 account. You trained all day and sat in the hotel going through emails from your accounts the rest of the night. The expectations of these employees was almost impossible to perform and set up to fail.

    Advice to Management

You could tell that management had favorites and how they treated those employees over the others.

I have been working at Avionte Staffing Software full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Fast-paced, great coworkers, casual attire, consistent growth, social atmosphere, comfortable workspace

    Cons

Lots of changes (positive changes, but can be hard to keep up!), sometimes prioritize sales over service,

    Advice to Management

Continue to really listen to and take action on the opinions and concerns of your teams. They are in the thick of the work and know the day-to-day struggles. This will help with retention as well as process.

I have been working at Avionte Staffing Software full-time

    Pros

Avionte has an incredibly accepting, open and friendly culture! Everyone looks out for one another and it truly does feel like "family." Also, beer Fridays, food trucks and sporting events are a plus. I came in to Avionte as a new grad with this being my first job, they've made me feel right at home and have made sure that I feel welcome and well-acclimated.

    Cons

None that I can think of at the moment- it's a word hard, play hard culture so I guess some may think that is a "con."

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're doing! You have a special way of making employees feel valued and welcome- regardless of job title or experience level.
