    Pros

You receive a company car, when you work for the management staff. They do cover insurance as well. Which is fantastic.

    Cons

The fact they give you a car they feel they can pull on your strings like a puppet.

There is no consistency in schedule, or hours that you work. As a manager, you're expected to do hourly work, and have no time for reports during your 10 hour shift.

    Advice to Management

Stop taking advantage of the managers.

    Pros

Company itself may mean well and could be decent in other places. Company car is great benefit.

    Cons

IAH is ran terribly. The inmates run the asylum and it is pretty difficult to manage from an Ops perspective.

    Advice to Management

Replace airport management and phase out current RSA's. That would be a a start.

    Pros

Use of a company car and gas.

    Cons

Lots of hours, an average of 68 hours weekly with a low salary. Forget what you learn in management or leadership in college and the companies own training program. There are lots of unethical behaviors from unethical sales, work place professionalism, and unethical leadership. This leads to a negative work environment. Have a hard time keeping good employees and managers.

    Advice to Management

Implemented and follow through on some ethical leadership training, especially in tenure managers. Look to see why the high turn over rate.

    Pros

I was looking for a company to work where I can have peace of mind. A company where I can build a career and retire from it. After the research I found that Avis Budget Group (ABG) has those qualifications. ABG is a Fortune 500 business with great benefits for its employees and a great service for their clients. This made me think that if a company successfully cares about their customers, they must care about their team members as well.

    Cons

    Salary should be higher.

    Advice to Management

Keep the hard work on making a great work enviroment.

    Pros

great benefits and there is opportunity for growth with the company

    Cons

operations managers are the most worked and underappreciated. you are required to work 10 hour shifts, your off days are always changing and the Ops bonus structure is terrible compared to the bonuses of upper management and hourly. The position and exposure is great for building a resume. You have so much responsibilities you'll be ready for anything

    Advice to Management

have more consideration for your middle management team. better scheduling, fair bonus programs and more appreciation.

I worked at Avis Budget Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The free car (anywhere in North America) Benefits are good.

    Cons

No work life balance. They don't care about your life at all. My schedule chronically changed. You work a minimum 50 hrs a week. You get nothing for working longer. It's Avis Budget Group or nothing.Hard work is unnoticed. They run you on a skeleton crew and expect more and more out of you. It all rolls downhill to the operation manager and you ARE NOT allowed to voice your opinion to higher ups. Also the customers are the worst, I am waiting for a serious incident to happen when someone seriously injures a employee. I worked at a large location so I could see it being a little calmer somewhere else. But nonetheless, corporate DOES NOT CARE. You are a constantly replaceable number.

    Advice to Management

Your operations managers are the lifeblood, stop treating them like garbage.
