I worked at Avis Budget Group full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

This Company is family oriented and cares deeply for the employees well being. I worked ten years at the same location in various capacities. They have great benefits and amazing commission for the rental agents. Internal promotions are regular and there is great upward mobility if you are able to prove yourself. Great vacation and medical. Flexible management who work with the employees regarding schedules and vacation. The senior management is connected to the employees, they frequently have BBQ's and parties to encourage company morale as well as contests and rewards for excellent performance and productivity. Overall this is a great company to work for with competitive salaries and great benefits.

    Cons

The management is very fluid at this location which is used as a training ground. This requires flexibility in the attitudes of all employees. There is a roof at this location after which you will need to move locations to gain further achievements in your career. The management training is comprehensive and shows the companies determination to help their employees succeed. Management is Salary and requires a flexible schedule with a lot of overtime in certain seasons. Minimum ten hour work day is usual.
