I worked at Avis Budget Group part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Team work, customer service, nice people to work with. Different locations are respectful, kind and really nice to all the drivers.

    Cons

Weather, sometimes there's a special vehicle need to be transported to another location and a vehicle is buried in the dirty line and you need to move all the vehicles to get it.

    Advice to Management

The company is awesome to work for because avis care and understand employees.

I worked at Avis Budget Group part-time

    Pros

Part time gives you the power to choose your own schedule.

    Cons

You know, sales is not for everyone, you have to have the kind of personality to screw over everybody to make money due to the percentage scaled commission pay.

I worked at Avis Budget Group part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Money was pretty solid. Co workers were very helpful and easy to get a long with. 3 month training program in sales if you are part time.

    Cons

Must try and overcome customer objections. Always had to push the most expensive cars at 200$ a day it was rough. People typically don't like to be up sold after a 5hr flight. Tough to make sales when seniority gets all the good shifts and they stick newbies on graveyard.

    Advice to Management

Give new people a better chance to learn before throwing them on grave yard by themselves.

    Pros

Car, gas, and insurance is a nice perk. Benefits are good (not great). You learn a lot about utilization, productivity, pricing, and allocating resources.

    Cons

Long hours after training - You will be working minimum of 10 hour days after training period.
Lowest in seniority means working nights and weekends.
Keeping everyone on the same page at a large location is a constant struggle.
In order to advance with the company, you must be willing to relocate
