I have been working at Avis Budget Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Learn skills at low risk, low time commitment (although I double and do both cleaning cars, returning, and sales)

    Cons

Dealing with issues from other locations that aren't necessarily your own, as well as supply and demand issues for vehicles

I worked at Avis Budget Group full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

You’ll get a paycheck every two weeks

    Cons

Just look at the stats and not the quality of work being done. A person answering 22 emails or tickets an hour is a super star even though their responses always come back whereas the person doing 8 an hour rarely gets return responses. One response resolution is not important. Quantity over quality. The worse you do at your job however, the more likely you are to get a promotion.

    Advice to Management

Encourage agents to read complaints before answering instead of just complaint types...

I worked at Avis Budget Group full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Earning potential is unlimited.
    Self Employed
    Regular Customers become valued friends

    Cons

    7 days a week. 11 hours a day
    Local territory managers are clueless.

    Advice to Management

Territory managers seem to have zero qualifications to oversee their group of locations. They provide no valued service for the location. The only value to the company seems to be only as a verification local reports are being run. If the position of TPM was eliminated no one would miss them (including the company)
