    Pros

You receive a company car, when you work for the management staff. They do cover insurance as well. Which is fantastic.

    Cons

The fact they give you a car they feel they can pull on your strings like a puppet.

There is no consistency in schedule, or hours that you work. As a manager, you're expected to do hourly work, and have no time for reports during your 10 hour shift.

    Advice to Management

Stop taking advantage of the managers.

    Pros

Good people to work with, very nice to work with!!! Can't think of any thing else!!!!!good benefits, 401 k.
    ???????????????

    Cons

Bad management, why do they let reservation book when there is no inventory. You have to meet sales goals and you are forced to cheat without the customers acknowledge. The CEO of Avis budget group need to be investigated by congress like the CEO of Wells Fargo all upper management needs to be fired. This company is hazardous to your health. Not worth the pain and stress.

    Advice to Management

Stop hiring these 20 year olds off the street that have no no clue what there doing, listen to the older agent that been there 30 + years. Ever since the merger with Avis and budget it all became budget down hill. No favors from co worker ls should not be allowed. Tell the the reservation center to start doing there job right .

    Pros

Older fleet cars get cycled out so you never work on older vehicles, getting to drive new vehicles, getting to work on vehicles from various manufactures.

    Cons

Lack of development, Lack of advancement opportunities, communication between maintenance and operations.

    Cons

Everything, bad management. Customers screaming at you while Managers just walk by. When you do call a Manager for assistance they never show up. Minimal Pay and expect the employee to do every else's job.

I worked at Avis Budget Group full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The only pros I can think of is the Uncapped commission

    Cons

Where do I begin?!? At first it was great money and then the company plummeted. From no cars to the lack of hiring full time employees. The abuse that is allowed from fmla to the advantage being taken from New managers or managers the upper management didn't care for. The scheduling is awful! Night shifts wouldn't be covered and because of it associates dodged the counter. I would not recommend this position to anyone for now. It's like the housing market, it's a recession right now.

    Advice to Management

Management can be great but they work off of favorites

I worked at Avis Budget Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

As a rental sales agent, you will be compensated if you sell. It is a mandatory part of the job and it will be stressed. They are self-insured so it makes sense that they want you to sell their insurance. Also, more expensive cars just sitting there are losing them money so they really need you to upsell, but that being said the make it worth your wild to do so.

    Cons

Can be hectic!! Cars break down, get in wrecks and whole models types can get put on recall. You have to be able to calmly take care of customers that might have been let down. It can suck but the company will do whatever it can try to make that not happen. That being said, customers can get very upset, and rightly so. The ability to handle such situations can be very difficult.

    Advice to Management

Remember to reward the operation's supports staff. Motive them with monetary rewards to kick butt during thin times. I felt like they were sometimes not properly appreciated.

    Pros

The pay at this location is great and they are somewhat flexible with your schedule needs

    Cons

your experience will end up being highly manager dependent. Some managers I've had in the past have been great but the current manager allows for much drama in the workplace

    Advice to Management

Take the time to get to know your employees and help accomadate to our scheduling needs
