    Pros

There is not much a pro in here.

    Cons

Poor management. Few managers always act like they are the owner of the company and do whatever they'd to do.

    Advice to Management

    Really needs to improve.

    Pros

Good benefits. Good hours. They provide uniforms.

    Cons

The middle managers have been around too long and refuse to accept change. Too many people related to each other at the higher levels.

    Advice to Management

    No point...They don't listen anyway...

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

While working at an airport you get to meet people from all over the country, world. I had some amazing coworkers and there is even a sense of "in it together" comaraderie between companies employees.

    Cons

As a manager at a Airport Rental Car location, expect to work long hours. Shifts are essentially 10+ hours daily. Companies treat employees as numbers only, with little regard for your well being.

    Advice to Management

Try to ensure that one of your priorities is maintaining moral (which can be very challenging in this industry). There is lots of sales pressure at the counter, and production pressure with the cleaning crew in the back. Employees get a lot of appreciation if they feel their manager is digging deep with them.

    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Avis Budget Group part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

You get to drive a lot of cars

    Cons

Upper management vehicle distribution is completely unorganized, constantly overbooks cars and doesn't shut down reservation system even when we do not have cars left to rent, when it's busy and overbooked distribution doesn't deliver cars to smaller locations but sends all cars to larger locations which makes for a very frustrating environment for customers & employees both.

    Pros

Money was nice but not consistent

    Cons

After Orlando's tourist season shifted for summer, the company layed off close to 20 of us knowing damn well the fluctuations in business of the area prior to hiring all of us. Only gave us a 3 day notice and left us high and dry.

    Advice to Management

    Pros

Decent pay for not very difficult work.

    Cons

Disorganized and unprofessional. Training was a confusing process and there was not much help from managers. There was a "it's not my job" mentality.

    Pros

Great Benefits, awesome people to work with. Great for people looking for their first manager job. Company car, cell phone etc....If your really lucky you might get a laptop and credit card.

    Cons

Really long hours like more than 65 a week. No work life balance at all. Leaving at the tenth hour is perceived as leaving early. Pay was not great but ok.

    Advice to Management

Listen to low managers on the floor. Welcome the fresh pair of eyes concept. When boarding new management ensure everything is set up and prepared. First Impression goes both ways.
