I have been working at Avis Budget Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Flexible works hours, easy to call off, it is what you make it so it's not that bad if you consider it just a job for the now

    Cons

Pretty much impossible to move up, they want you to do everyone's jobs for the same pay. Managers are just looking for a way to move up and don't care about company

    Advice to Management

Think about people other than yourself and remember we all start from somewhere so don't look down on service agents that have to make nothing out of something

I have been working at Avis Budget Group (More than a year)

    Pros

Non what's so ever besides working outside and with newish cars, and do mostly driving, work at ur own pace

    Cons

Everyone who works with me are big babies, they see something they don't like and they get aLloyd but hurt cause of the union. We do the hard work and get no raise and if u ask for one all they do is laugh at u. Everything that isn't finish on the lot gets thrown to us vehicle service agents and they still expect us to clean every car by Sunday night,

    Advice to Management

Start with a better wage, and give raises to the people who deserves them, cheap company who don't give raises or respect to ur workers and coworkers and that's why u lose a lot of good employees. Stop sitting behind the desk and expect thing to get done. Get ur but up and do something

I have been working at Avis Budget Group part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Easy, to the point job. Clean the dirty cars and ready line them for the counter people. Get you drive some of the newest cars out of the market. Enjoy driving and learning about cars that you might want to buy in the future. Learn about the in's and out's of car rentals that you might not of known before (<----good stuff too). Holiday pay (mostly only on major holidays). Flexible hours when needed. All cars are Automatic!

    Cons

Needs better pay. Working in all weather conditions (you do get provided proper gear though). Will be using chemicals to clean cars (nothing dangerous unless in concentrated form). Some cars come back pretty gross (half eaten food, bad smells, ect.). Job gets hard around football games and other big events in the area or around. Need to be able to drive big 12 passenger vans (they do have back up cameras though).

    Advice to Management

Depending on location: There are a lot of great employees that just don't get the praise they should get. Company views all employees as equal but when it comes down to it some or valued more then others (even when they do much less then the others).

    Cons

The customers are ok but working at the airport you get some real hot heads.

    Advice to Management

Needs better communication throughout the company.
