    Pros

Decent pay, most of the employees are good workers. Company is in solid position to grow with a high level of customer satisfaction.

    Cons

Not much communication with senior management. Company has drastically changed since investors took over from the founding family. Common sense seems to be lacking.

    Advice to Management

Improve communication company-wide. Open up more avenues for people to move up within the company. Have all levels of management spend more time on the production floor.

    Neutral Outlook

I worked at Avtron Industrial Automation full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Very good pay and benefits. Nice building. Recently bought by Japanese. Perhaps things will change.

    Cons

Clueless middle management. VERY hostile work invironment. Lots of defensiveness, finger pointing, and name calling. A true house devided. Very sad. They don't seem to be able to "get off the ground" as a company. They seem to be stuck in old ruts in terms of their direction.

    Advice to Management

Nearly incompetent middle management is undermining your company.

    Pros

Always challenging and innovative with reasonable respect and harmony.

    Cons

New management destroyed harmony with slash and burn.

    Advice to Management

People are not commodities. Removed people with only a few years left in career unceremoniously, and later replaced them with new titles.
