Two things:
- While the hands-off management is certainly an advantage, the downside of it is that, for the most part, you will have to come up with your own training resources. Fortunately, everyone is very supportive, but it will be up to you to use your imagination to figure out what should be covered and how to cover it. It's a bit like drawing a map of a city that you are just getting to know.
- The BYOD policy [50/50 assisted purchasing scheme] is not built for everyone. If, God forbid, you are not an Apple groupie, or don't feel like spending $1000 on extra equipment, you are on your own.
