I worked at Axalta as an intern

    Pros

The work environment was nice. Everyone was willing to help and clarify any questions I had.

    Cons

Interns had to attend weekly meetings covering broad corporate topics. Good exposure but some lectures were irrelevant.

    Advice to Management

It would be helpful to have a clearly internship objective. Tasks were unclear at times.

I worked at Axalta as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

All the employees are very friendly, and they have a great company culture. The company pays well, and has benefits even for interns.

    Cons

There were too many interns for the summer. A lot of the interns didn't get any real work, so they didn't get to gain any real experience.

    Advice to Management

Don't go easy on the interns. A lot of the interns are family members of Axalta employees. They should still be given the same expectations.

    Pros

150 year old product with a 2 year old culture. Low to No risk lot of potential

    Cons

We all know the importance of information in this age. Crappy IT. Good Lord! Went from bad to horrible. Way way behind with no signs of any offense at time soon. Tech Leadership has no direction and no hope! Not even a mirage. All Directors are cronies! And sadly hopeless. NA is doomed - I will repost in 6 months but as a betting person will take my money out ;-) ask around if you doubt me! This is a joke

    Advice to Management

IT leadership needs a comple overhaul. cronies must go. If not Now 6 months later. But Why wait?
