    Pros

If you were a decent reviewer, they would try to keep you on
They had enough projects to roll people off one and onto others
The pay was at the middle-high end for the industry

    Cons

    Very little room for advancement
    Unclear metrics on evaluation
    Administration turnover and infighting

    Pros

Very challenging work. You are always learning in this position. You pick up a lot of computer skills and you learn a lot about medical technology. I have worked in the medical industry for 20 years and I must say I have learned more doing this job than any position I have held before. The company is really great to work for.

    Cons

Some days you may stand for hours, and it can be physically demanding. The pace of the job can be very fast and a lot of the time there is not enough other techs to help out.

    Advice to Management

My only advice would be to hire more tech to meet the increasing demand of the work. I known this may be difficult because this is a contractor position.

I worked at Axiom Films as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

Good people, decent salary, good work environment, nice facilities. Bring in breakfast every morning and if you work the weekend, they provide lunch. Team leads are generally very helpful and project managers are always understanding. As with most doc review, it can take several days at the beginning of the project to get it up to speed. Also, they are very upfront about project duration, which I have found is a rare quality among doc review shops.

    Cons

Sometimes its hard to get into the work rotation. Recruiters aren't always that responsive when your trying to contact them to get into a project.
