I worked at Axion LLC full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Unfortunately there are really NO pro's when it comes to working for this organzaition. You have to bethere for 20+ years to even get noticed

    Cons

There are too many downsides to list. The owner is very much into himself and not his employees. He has a Managing Partner that noone is sure exactly what he does. Some say he does the numbers as he is a CPA as well. However could not be that great being he is not working as an accountant

    Advice to Management

Don't forget about the people that have built that company. There are families you are taking food off of the table from, just so they can drive there Mercedes Benzs.

    Advice to Management

    Pros

There are no additional benefits, I get paid for the hours I work that is all.

    Cons

There are NO PERKS at all. It would great if we were able to accrue vacation hours/time after one year of employment like they used to do in the past. The hourly salaries need to increase to reflect the market of EA's in all industries also if an associate remains on an assignment after one year, associates should be given an hourly increase.

I have been working at Axion LLC as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

I have been working at Axion, LLC as a contractor for less than a year
Unfortunately, There are NO pros with working with this company.

    Cons

The best thing about working here is that you can set your own limits as to where and how far you want to travel for your work environment but you may not get a client list. You can specify the locations and amount of caseload you are willing /able to do in a specific period and they will try to work with you after multiple phone call to recruiter and being told that they just received lists from insurance company and will send a list the afternoon of that day, 3 days later still waiting for list despite repeated calls. When call you hear the same told that they just received lists from insurance company and will send a list that afternoon.

The office staff are not always available by phone and phone messages are not always returned and response to email can take 12 hours or more. There is on-call line to assist after office hours. This makes it easy to stay connected to your employer who is States away from your location and even possibly in a different time zone.

Wrong clientele information- set up an appointment and arrive at your destination to find out they are hospital- DECEASED---and you DO NOT GET PAID for any travel mileage and get NO gas allowance for your effort-only to have to reschedule again for some. Told that case should take about 1 hour to 1 and ½ hour and most take longer.

    Advice to Management

NEED TO OFFER TRAVEL ALLOWANCE FOR GAS_MILEAGE ,etc. ---and for many of these assignments-paid ONE fee by the CASE [1 HR.] when in fact you may be at a home for many hours---almost working for less than MINIMUM WAGES when you factor in cost of phone calls to set up the appointments and amount of gas to get there and back.

The work is very rewarding as you have the opportunity to help others get their healthcare issues addressed and help get them the resources they need to improve their current health status as much as possible to alleviate complications and continued hospitalizations . For others, you may not be able to change their current situation-but can get them the help they need to work through any end of life issues they may have and give them some kind of hope for the days ahead on a difficult journey in which they may not be adequately prepared.

    Cons

Wrong clientele information-phone numbers, addresses, and then to set up an appointment and arrive at your destination to find out they are back in the hospital-ASSTD LVG-SNF-or through family member that they are DECEASED---and you DO NOT GET PAID for any travel mileage and get NO gas allowance for your effort-only to have to reschedule again for some-and then , the embarrassing apologies calling or showing up at a home where someone has already passed away---not a fun thing to have to do...breaks your heart---but then, you may get an opportunity to offer hope as well as sympathy to the family...may make their journey through the loss of their loved one a little more bearable....SO, you are not at a total waste of your time. Words of encouragement can help many face the difficult loss with a renewed strength and hope.

I worked at Axion LLC full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

It's an unprofessional environment, but it can be a fun family type of atmosphere. Employees are a little immature, but they like to laugh. Good stepping stone for someone with limited experience. Can be a great place to learn and then move on from.

    Cons

Limited benefits and no growth opportunity, unprofessional work environment and dumpy office. No structure, review process or HR Department. Senior Leadership acts like the mickey mouse club, making changes with out reason or communication which often leads to low morale and instability among employees.

    Advice to Management

It would be great if Axion implemented some kind of structure, maybe adding a review process and structure for advancement.
