Work Literally Anywhere Else
Dec 19, 2022 - IT Project Manager in Piscataway, NJRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
AXIS does a great job taking care of their family. Like literally, the family of the C level employees that get gifted jobs are well taken care of. Good luck if you are not a blood relative of middle management at the absolute least. Since management never decides on anything concrete and doesn't follow through on their timelines you can expect to have pretty lenient deadlines. Unless you work in finance in which case you will be expected to display some sort of pre-cognitive ability to finalize a report before the information being reported has been collected.
Cons
- Little to no room for internal growth, expect to cap out your salary in 1-2 years, sometimes you can get a promotion if you threaten to quit. - Expect to be micromanaged on the most obscure metrics possible - On the off chance you do end up making a decent wage fear not, they will hire someone worse at your job for around 60% of what they pay you and lay you off without notice

Pros
There are no pros, at all.
Cons
Extremely disorganized, unprofessional, toxic, and out-dated. Pay is incredibly low. Years and years without raises. No bonuses. No fringe benefits. No culture. No performance reviews. No job security. No management or leadership. No promotions or potential for growth. No communication. No transparency. No current technology. No trust. No structure.

Overall Pleasant Experience
Sep 7, 2016 - Customer Service Representative in Maspeth, NYRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Worked in customer service for a few years. Generally the people are nice there. Hours were not the greatest.
Cons
Working in a depressing basement with bright lights wasn't the best. No training really existed, it was sort of a sink or swim attitude. The HR was not good.

Pros
Small HR department (1), casual atmosphere
Cons
Too much work, too few employees to manage work, systems used are ancient, everything done very manually, huge paperwork trails, not enough trained employees, employees that have been there too long with no full knowledge of the work. Work is done sloppy, many mistakes, many oversights.
