I have been working at Axway full-time

    Pros

Company that gives importance to what software quality is, organized and everyone's willing to assist from the top down. Many solutions are game changers and this separates Axway from several "point" solution providers. Broader solution offerings = broader vision for our customers = higher ASP. Pay is competitive for the industry and overall Axway is a great company to work for, whether you're starting or deep in your career.

    Cons

Long term strategy and acquisitions are spot on. The challenge for every software company that grows through acquisitions: tighter product integration faster.

    Advice to Management

Keep practicing what you preach. Staying in front of customers, employees and listening to your people. The open dialog is a breath of fresh air. Recommendation: Stock Options based on performance??

I have been working at Axway full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Great place for beginners
    - Friendly and young environment (in this department)
    - Lots of training in different areas
    - Travels (mainly Europe)
    - Opportunity to move abroad

    Cons

    - The style of leadership is a bit chaotic, not so well organized when it comes to new projects
    - Intense usage of old technologies
    - Slow to change
    - Old way of thinking

I have been working at Axway full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Advice to Management

I have been working at Axway full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Easy day to day tasks and rewarding work for the most part. The dress code is very casual and gives a sorta home atmosphere.

    Cons

Inability to work from home for most cases. Issues with not being provided with the proper tools that suites the individual. Believing that the tools that's best to get the job done is the one that the individual is most familiar with.

    Advice to Management

Offer a cultural class, provide language learning, or work with an individual to acclimate to the Axway culture.

    I worked at Axway full-time

    Pros

Axway employees are consistently very nice.

    Cons

The company is relatively small (thousands of employees) but acts like a much larger company. This is likely due to the industry it's in. This means that things move very slowly and there's so much bureaucracy to deal with to get things done.

    Advice to Management

Try to be more nimble and innovative. Otherwise people who aren't simply looking for 9-5 jobs will go to more interesting companies.

I have been working at Axway full-time

    Pros

Axway is full of some of the smartest, most engaging and thoughtful people I have met - who genuinely care about our customers' success, which leads to the success of Axway.

    Cons

I have not experienced it personally, but it seems management in recent years has had a definite negative impact on morale, and I think we have lost some key people because of the toxic leadership.

    Advice to Management

Do not use fear or intimidation as a motivator, it creates an unhealthy environment for all.

I have been working at Axway full-time

    Pros

    Advice to Management
