    Pros

Flexible hours and some remote opportunities. Many US employees will get opportunity to visit Paris and Eastern Europe. New CEO is providing a lot more visibility, which is great - he also seems to be bringing a nice dose of fun :). Product portfolio is being consolidated and Axway is heavily focused on improving the usability and accessibility of products. Many customers are excited to get involved in providing feedback on products. Company is focusing more on employee retention and attraction than in the past. Not a lot of political and personal drama like there can be in US-only companies. Have gotten the opportunity to work on many cool projects, as well as identifying other areas for improvement and receiving support on these areas.

    Cons

Can be hard to get to know people at first.

    Advice to Management

I have been working at Axway full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Some great people who desperately want to do the right things, and the right things are starting to happen. It is a smaller company so career opportunities can be limited, but there is also a great deal of opportunity for the right people with the right knowledge and approach.

Very good on work life balance. No expectations of weekend working. Work hard during the week but then step away and come back fresh!

    Cons

A lot of cultural baggage to deal with that is slowing the company down, but that is recognized and slowly being dealt with.

    Advice to Management

Keep improving! Focus on driving change through and ensuring that change actually happens!

I worked at Axway full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Flexible work hours, kind team at the middle mgmt/junior employee level, no dress code, health insurance was good, offices are nice, free soda.

    Cons

Salary is awful, and they don't give anyone at mid mgmt or junior level anymore than a 2% raise every 5 years. Mgmt will give you a great performance review and not give you a cent and bonus' are pathetic. There are too many VP's and Directors with fancy titles doing nothing but not responding to emails. Women won't make it past Director level (there isn't a single woman with a VP or C level title in the company of 1100 employees) not modern thinkers, stuck in old school French thought process.

    Advice to Management

    Retire

    You can never advance.
    Technology is antiquated.
Product management is a total disaster. Complete idiots.

    Advice to Management

Get out of our country and go back to France.

Axway has made some great acquisitions and have some talented people still remaining.

I worked at Axway full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Benefits are on par with other companies. Some of the engineers are very hard working.

    Cons

French run company. Unless you are French, you will not be respected. In the last 12 months, multiple key U.S. VP's have left the company indicating there are significant internal issues. Leadership turnover is well above the norm indicating there are problems.

Significant product quality issues. For key products like B2Bi, Axway has NO REFERENCEABLE CLIENTS. Think about what that says.

    Engineering cannot hit delivery dates.

    Advice to Management

    Get a good management team.
