I have been working at B. Braun Melsungen (More than a year)

    Pros

Overall I think this is a good company to work for. I think they offer a lot of perks and incentives and treat their employees with care. They are also doing well right now and are growing.

    Cons

This is a very conservative company, so they are really slow to make changes/improvements and are not always the most efficient.

I have been working at B. Braun Melsungen full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Benefits. Gym reimbursement, 10-15 days vacation and 6days sick. They vacation days grow the longer you are with company. Cheap cafeteria.

    Cons

Salary rules suck. Benefits are great but you have to pay bills. There is a profit share. Very, very strict about requirements on education, if you don't have bachelors they will not allow you to be a manager or rep regardless of your experience and skills.

    Advice to Management

Take care of your good employees, if you start seeing people leaving maybe it is time to look at yourselves.

    Cons

Very old technology in manufacturing , yet wanted to stay competitive globally in state of the art 21 century technology
last 4 years the company culture struggling due to implementation of lean culture, No SMART vision. Turnover and layoff were high, majority of talented dedicated professional from Engineering, manufacturing, and Quality department left or were let go.
FDA visit and its observations in 2013 was a big factor in company loosing its peaceful environment.

    Advice to Management

    Pros

This prestigious company allows you to to pursue your interests while developing their own products. The pay is excellent and you feel like a team member right away. The term "welcome aboard" is used by everyone when you first join and for good reason. B. Braun manages a tight ship.

    Cons

Its easy to get lost in the jumble of employees who work here. Depending on who your manager is you can be treated well or badly with no chances of getting transferred. Upper management makes dumb product decisions and continues implementing them even if they know its bad business.

    Advice to Management

Allow more subordinate feedback in meetings.

    Pros

Sharing expertise, bbraun stick to these word, lots of training and a great working place for anyone interested in improving their skills.

    Cons

    1. A lot of fraud and corruption going on, I was surprised this company still standing.
    2. No over time even for non-exempt staff. If you are new grads with dips think twice before applying for job here.
    3. To many managers in one dept, meaning all talk no action. They only talk and bossing you around .
    4. Nepotism and racist are the norm here. Get use to it. Dont believe me? Take a lot at the company org chart.

    Advice to Management

Bbraun is still a family owned company and seeing the owner hugging and shaking hand with thief that steal their money was quite a funny sight. Start taking action on those corrupt people handling project. They make my job hard and try to communication with low level worker, it is by their two hand the company is making money
