I worked at BASF Corporation full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Tuition Reimbursement, GREAT BENEFITS, Pays above industry average

    Cons

While this is a great company, the Customer Care unit at the Charlotte location is a toxic environment. People are regularly on medical-leave for stress-induced issues. Employees are overworked and not paid overtime!(CCR is hourly/non-exempt). CCR's are stressed into putting in extra hours and are not compensated. There is no management support. I would not let anyone whose well-being I care about work in that department. Everyone in that group is miserable.

    Advice to Management

Please, for the sake of your employee's mental and physical health, change the management in Customer Care for ED and EV!!!!! They are working employees to death and using illegal tactics to minimize cost at the expense of the employees' well-being.

We will not stay in operation without safety. Benefits are the greatest, pay is completive where ever you are located; however, the other compensation is unbelievable. We get 10 days bereavement within your imitate family. Maternity leave for the mother and father same time of paid leave. Retirement ! free financial planning for your retirement.

    Cons

People that work at BASF stay until retirement age. People are promoted within the Company causing opening. Constantly changing creating new products and needs for new people. :)

    Advice to Management

Keep going in the direction of all inclusion for a sustainable future. Keep listening to the people doing the work. Continue building a safety culture based on sharing knowledge. Knowledge on how to have a first pass quality mindset.

    Pros

Outstanding, supportive culture. Open to creativity and outside box thinking.

    Cons

Operates like a Fortune 100 company with a 150+ history - levels of bureaucracy to which someone with a history in smaller companies needs to adapt.

    Advice to Management

Continue to bring more outsiders in and look at ways to innovate organically.

    Cons

Response to final customers on complaints is slow. If you work in remote places, you may feel like you are long forgotten
