I have been working at BASF full-time for more than a year

      Pros

Great raw materials for on machine performance.

      Cons

Don't know how to use them in the process, so they sell them as a commodity.

      Advice to Management

Visit customers to learn how the chemistry works.

I have been working at BASF full-time for more than 5 years

      Pros

BASF leads the pack when it comes to empoering employees. The company’s overall benefits package are superior to most other petro-chemical companies (yes, even oil and gas). A German company with a big presence in the US sets up for a great benefits and pay. I’ve worked for 2 similar companies in my 10yr career and I plan to retire here.

      Cons

As with any large (50,000+ employees) company, change comes very slow.

      Advice to Management

Keep putting employees as top priority.

      Neutral Outlook
      Approves of CEO

I have been working at BASF full-time for more than 5 years

      Pros

25 years experience in developing and implementing APC and RTO projects in refineries and chemical plants

      Cons

Not much interest from Manufacturing community in these advance money making technologies. Larger refiners and chemical plants make money in the 100's of millions range. Companies the size of BASF

      Advice to Management

BASF Don't give up on APC RTO technology and the maintenance it requires
