I have been working at BAYADA Home Health Care full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Wonderful team members to work with. The field clinicians are the best that I have ever worked with. There is a lot of support to the clinical managers.

    Cons

The staff are sometimes stretched a bit between visits due to the irregular shape and size of the county. On-call system could be tightened up a bit.

    Pros

    Flexible position for family-oriented individual.

    Cons

    1) Demanding and inflexible office staff, with little understanding or concern for field staff / employee challenges.
    2) Inexperienced management with inability to properly oversee the many office responsibilities for improving inter-office growth and processes.
    3) Lack of office policies, control and discipline for achieving company goals relating to clinical practice.
    4) Inability to establish an employee retention program due to lack of experienced management personnel.
    5) No regular salary increases.
    6) Many required non visit / unpaid expected work requirements.
    7) Employees are responsible for building and maintaining his / her own caseloads.
    8) Pay rate ends up being much lower than other settings due to this company's tedious demands and non billable requirements.

    Advice to Management

Hire experienced and charismatic Associate Directors, who have the ability to manage the many facets of these offices, beginning with proper office infrastructure to the hiring and training of the CSM's to be well adversed in the many aspects of this role. Offer competitive salaries / point schedules to compensate for all the long and tedious computer tasks, paperwork, redundant email chains, and other specified requirements continuously requested.
