I have been working at BAYADA Home Health Care part-time (More than 3 years)
Can pick what hours I want. You can also turn down clients you do not want to care for. When they ask you to take extra hours be sure to ask for stat pay! And keep track of your hours.
The pay is low by most standards. They call or text when ever there is a call out, even if you have never cared for the client slot they are trying to fill. Which they say during your interview will never happen. They still require TB testing yearly. I work in a more rural area and have to drive all the way to The University area for CPR recertification, that is a huge hassle with traffic. They fail to give proper notice either with texts or emails if you need to update anything related to your skills.
Advice to Management
When you require CPR recertification you should be offering it closer to where your staff is currently working. Seeing as you have several different branch offices.
