    Lack of organization and communication!!

    Pros

    Bayada was wonderful when I started with them seven years ago. The clients and their families are why I've stayed with this company. I've been lucky to have consistent clients with a flexible schedule that has fit my own families needs.

    Cons

    The complete lack of organizational skills and communication. Avoid dealing with the office staff if at all possible. The Client Service Managers or 'schedulers' are required to have a Bachelors degree BUT not required to have ANY medical knowledge or experience. So what happens is they hire young grads right out of college who are just using the position as a stepping stone to start their career. The turnover is ridiculous so no communication or continuity! I couldn't begin to count how many CSMs I've had in my seven years. Just in the last nine months, I've had four!!! They also pay the CSMs more than 90% of their clinical staff! Their base salary is the same as the STAT RN pay AND they get bonuses!!! Those bonuses are partially based on what their cases bill out and any $ they can keep from paying the nurses STAT or mileage. Basically the more they call, email and text the nurses to beg them to fill shifts yet NOT give said nurse any perk for working said shift the more $$$ they personally make!! It's the most ridiculous self serving system I've ever worked with for a company who's motto is 'we care'.

    Pros

    management is very helpful. Scheduling is very flexible. They treat you like family.

    Cons

    salary is not that great and cases are not guarrantee all the time.

    Pros

    Morris plains Pediatric Bayada NJ, is a great place to work for. The staff are very nice and caring. I work with Marilyn Gray, she is great

    Cons

    Somerset and New Brunswick Bayada is not as organized as Morris Plains branch. Have been working for Bayada for over 3 years and no raise in my salary.
