I have been working at BB&T full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Reasonable pay. Several opportunities to learn. Good people. Generally good clientele. 9-5 Mon-Fri, 1-2 Saturday's per month.

    Cons

Little creativity throughout the work day. Can be redundant day to day. Without regular reminder that the majority of clients are good, hardworking individuals, it might be easy enough to allow the handful of fraudsters to negatively bias the outlook of dealing with people.

    Advice to Management

I trust you're doing your best for the customer and the shareholder. Genuine reminders of appreciation for the front line of associates handling client interactions might go a long way.

    Pros

Good benefits; decent pay; Monday-Friday job, Saturdays only four times a year for 5 hours

    Cons

Short staffed; More floaters should be hired to cover employees that are on vacation.

    Advice to Management

Better staffing and use part-timers to accomodate lunch rush

    I worked at BB&T part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Overall the best financial institute I worked for, the people were great and they provided more than enough training and coaching.

    Cons

Only 2 problems I ever had, first they did away with my position. I loved that position very much. It kept me fresh and confident. Second, once my position was dissolved they offered me a few different teller positions at a few different locations, all with varying hours. I chose one and ended up feeling very annoyed by the pushing of sales on accounts.

    Advice to Management

    Bring back the Rovers!

I have been working at BB&T full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good work/ life ratio. Decent benefits

    Cons

Dependent on your manager no room for growth within company. Which is strange cause that's one of the core values of the company

    Advice to Management

Don't always go directly by what the manager says about employees. They may just want to keep a good worker for themselves instead of seeing them prosper.
