    BB&T has the best interest of their clients first. They want their clients to achieve economic success and financial security and they give us the tools and training to help them do that.

    Cons

    I can't say anything negative. I've been with the company over a year and still love my job.

    amazing benefits and great pay - even for part time compared to most banks in the area
    work/life balance is very fair
    excellent teamwork between back/front office
    plenty of opportunity to advance for those who want to
    relocation is generally an option
    sales goals are based on branch totals not individuals (tellers)

    not on the west coast :(

    Pros

    Good Salary, great benefits, little to no drama,fair treatment,over 30,000 employees. BB&T is a great company to work for and really care about their employees, customers and community.

    Cons

    Not that diversified,not the most exciting industry. BB&T needs to diversify the location of their support jobs. If I want to relocate and stay in my support role I have to do it in Winston Salem.

    Advice to Management

    Loosen up the culture and provide perks like free drinks.
