-zero work life balance -no career growth (a person on my team was in his role for 9 years) - no opportunity to experience other brands - no management support - no opportunity to learn.

Pros

BBDO is a great place to work. For your social life. The office has a bar that a lot of employees go to at the end of the day. Plus the work/life balance never keeps you very late. BBDO is constantly winning awards and looks great on your resume. The company motto is "The work. The work. The work." and they do defend the hell out of it and defend their creatives.

Cons

As a junior, expect to be ignored or forgotten. With an agency this big, all of the cool work is sent to the senior creatives, leaving you with emails and print ads for the lesser known clients. Performance reviews are almost non-existent, as are raises or promotions. Internal communication organization is terrible, resulting in a lot of screw ups and pointed fingers. If you're still intrigued, my best advice for a junior is to put in your year and move on. Any longer and you're wasting time when you could be doing cooler work and making more money doing it somewhere else.

Completely do not understand interactive/digital as a marketing paradigm shift The old school world of CD personalities dominating work is alive and kicking Not willing to invest in talent growth (no money for conferences, classes, products to test...etc) Client come to BBDO for traditional work and they go elsewhere for digital/experiential

Pros

I was there for almost 3 years as an interactive designer. Fabulous clients and very exciting teams. The overall talent level there is very high.

Cons

Work flow was not always a smooth as it might have been. Some weak areas of inter-office communication. Work/life balance was not always balanced!
