    Pros

The pay is ok if you have experience. All the managers in the area are nice. Mostly M-F, great if you like it

    Cons

Not much of work/ life balance. If you work Saturday, you work 6 days a week plus overtime. Not a lot of vacation offered until year 5.

    Advice to Management

Give more vacation time, we all need to spend time with our families. Try to give your employees a half day off for working on. Saturday.

I worked at BBVA Compass full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Convenient location, if you look you can find some good individuals within the company. The company has great benefits and perks.

    Cons

Poor management, out of the loop with the needs of the workers. Old school ways of thinking. Good old boys club. No mentoring available be prepared to find your own way in this industry. Popularity contest. Unfair tendencies to some. Operations team is judgmental and bullies. There is a look down your nose mentality based on pay grade. Sexiest group of males.

    Advice to Management

Replace the management, seek someone that enjoys their career and all people of the team. Someone that understands the role and can assist with guiding the team. Management is incompetent but requires excellence from the team. Stop participating and seeking gossip reach out and get to know everyone as an individual.

    Pros

    Good leadership
    Good incentive
    Community oriented
    Easy to promote within

    Cons

Pay sucks when you move up with in the company. They rather pay Joe blow more money to come from Chase and they aren't as valuable
To much micro managing with reporting and Google sheets and pictures to be uploaded to prove your work.

    Advice to Management

Consider the challenges of retail banking and the huge pressure you are placing on managers to hit enormous goals with a short staff while being micro managed to death. Take care of loyal hard working employees with more competitive pay before you loose them to other banks.
