I have been working at BC Tax full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Flexible hours with a laid-back atmosphere. The upper management people are easy to work for and there are lots of great and friendly co-workers. Room to advance and support from everyone if you choose to do so.

    Cons

They need to update some of their software programs namely for billing. It's often slow and annoying to navigate.

I have been working at BC Tax full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Friendly atmosphere and the pay is really good. The guys working here are the best in the business I've seen.

    Cons

Location. Although, I hear they're moving to a brand new office in Westminster soon.

    Advice to Management

Could use an extra receptionist, it gets busy.

I have been working at BC Tax full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

This is an exceptional company to work for. The owners are great and treat all of their employees like family. BC is also very generous with pay and time off. Tons of new clients to work with everyday. Good support staff and zero drama. This is the place to be if your in this field.

    Cons

No covered parking available to employees.

    Advice to Management

More vending machines would mean less trips across the street to the grocery store.

I have been working at BC Tax part-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

This is a convenient place to work if your a young professional. The pay and hours are great. I work with a lot of people that have become my friends over the years here too. Another huge benefit is the gym across the street.

    Cons

Public transportation can be rough. It's only served by one bus line.

    Advice to Management

We could use a few more copiers.

I have been working at BC Tax full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I like the overall company feel. I actually enjoy going to work everyday and that is something I have never felt before. I get paid better than any of my previous jobs as well. This is definitely my favorite job I've every had.

    Cons

I wish more lunch options were within walking distance. The grocery store is great but I wish more restaurants were nearby.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing and thank you for putting on the Christmas Party. I look forward to attending.

    Pros

Great pay and good ownership. This is a pretty fun environment to work in, lots of energy.

    Cons

They need more printers in the office.

    Advice to Management

Don't change anything. This is one of the best places I've ever worked.

I have been working at BC Tax full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

You could make decent money as an associate if you stick with it and make it through. Lots of freedom to run your book of clients as you see fit.

    Cons

Poor management, if you are not a circular 230 representative, you have to schedule a weekly meeting with a CPA to have him sit in on your calls to the IRS. No training plan for new paralegals and lots of turnover.

    Advice to Management

Fix the problems that employees bring to you. Paralegals are worth more than you pay them and you let the drama run the office.
