    Pros

Simple work, usually working at great companies or places

    Cons

No room for advancement, difficult to negotiate pay, management sees you as expendable. No benefits, always expecting more without pay.

    Advice to Management

Value the employees you have whether it be contractors or not.

I worked at BCForward for less than a year

    Pros

It was a job, and it paid the bills...barely.

    Cons

Often took more than 24 hours to hear back from them about anything, sometimes I would have to circle back before they reached out to me. Half the time they would forget to apply PTO to my paycheck so I wouldn't get paid until the following pay period. When asked if our PTO would carry over to the next year, it took them almost a month to provide us with an answer. The answer they eventually gave us was very vague... and not clear at all. It didn't end up carrying over. Overall a negative experience, which is why I got out in 10 months. Also the pay was the least amount I've ever made.
